Outrun 24 Hour Trail Run

Registration:  

Individual - $50, $65 after March 15th.
4 person relay team - $160, $220 after March 15th (Save $10 per person).
6 person relay team - $240, $330 after March 15th (Save $10 per person).
Includes a technical SS shirt (Sizes only guaranteed if you are registered by March 25th).

PROCEEDS Benefit Citizens of Lake County Metroparks.

Packet Pickup: Friday, April 27th at race location (noon-9pm). Saturday packet pickup and runner check-in starting 5:30am.

Description: The Outrun 24-Hour Trail Run is a new event held in the scenic Lake Metroparks at the Chapin Forest Reservation. Runners will follow a 1.00244 mi loop for as many miles as possible up to 24 hours.

Course: The IAU Bronze Label and USATF Certified (OH11035MW) 1mi and 13ft (1.00244mi) loop consists of 93% crushed limestone trails and 7% asphalt. The route has approx. 65' of elevation ascent and descent per loop. Click HERE for a new video of the complete course (please be aware this is not a professional video!!).

Timing: Timing will be provided by Champ Racing All registered runners must wear bib numbers provided. We will be using an automatic electronic reader, but please be sure your race bib is visible.

Food/Water/Aid Station: There is ONE aid station. In order to keep registration costs down, we suggest that you bring your own supply of nutrition and not rely solely on the aid station. However, we will have an assortment of food, water, sodas, GU gels at the Start/Finish/Aid station. There are enclosed bathrooms (no showers) & a large fire pit also at the aid area. There should be room at the aid station or nearby parking for your own supplies.

Other info: It is recommended that you wear a headlamp or use some sort of lighting system. The course will be marked at night with glow sticks or similar. NO ALCOHOL permitted in the park. Overnight parking and camping will be allowed as long as we follow all park rules.
